This is Ziggy, he’s approximately 5 years old and had a really rough start to life.
I adopted him 2 years ago. He has quite significant Metabolic Bone Disease (MBD) with a completely fused spine and tail (resembles a zig zag in x-rays). When I first adopted him, he was struggling to move himself around, eat, and could not be placed onto any substrate due to risk of harm to himself.
In the last two years, i’ve had a strong focus on providing him with correct husbandry and increasing his capacity to live a normal life. He is now able to live on an appropriate soil/coconut husk substrate, can move around completely unassisted and can eat by himself. I wouldn’t recommend co-habitation as he may not be able to keep up with the others. He’s also been living by himself for the past 2 years.
