A new way to build custom reptile backgrounds and décor.
Two-part sculpting epoxies are used primarily in zoo exhibits and themed environments to create custom rockwork, bark, roots, ledges and other habitat features. They’re still relatively unfamiliar to Australian reptile keepers.
If you’ve built backgrounds with foam, grout, mortar or Drylok, Polygem Zoopoxy offers a different way to shape the surface. Simply mix the Part A and Part B, then spread and sculpt the pliable putty by hand or with tools and a little water.
You can add the included thickener powder for a doughier consistency, then stamp, smooth and texture it into rock, bark, roots, ledges and hides. It forms a rock-hard, waterproof surface once cured that you can sand, shape and paint. It bonds to most surfaces and wont react with foam as you work.
